Cambodia
Go Back to Hennyworld
We truly felt like we were in SE Asia during our boat ride down the Tonle Sap Lake and River on the way to Phnom Penh.

Cambodia is a tough place to write about because of their difficult past. We visited the
Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng's high-school turned-torture chamber. (This section is NOT for kids). If you look further in the past, you will see the splendor of the Khmer Empire in Siem Reap.

Even with their horrendous past, it never ceased to amaze us the spirit of the Cambodian People. They are quick to offer a smile and hustle (sometimes too much) to make a living. You can even order happy food here like the extra happy pizza. Before you do, make sure you don't have any immediate plans.

Phnom Penh is a perfect example of the action. To relax after all the somber genocide museums, we headed to Sihanoukville and the beaches in ths south.
