Cyrn is a young male Velociraptor that is featured in the story Raptorsong, as well as the Sequal. Though mature, Cyrn acts like a chick at times. He is a joker, yet at other times can be one of the more serious raptors of the pack. He curious and playful, which make him one of the most likable raptors in the clan. |

| In Raptorsong 2, Cyrn finally finds his mate, a young female raptor in the pack named Strena. She is calm in dangerous situations and can take charge if she must. Like Cyrn, she is a jokster at times, yet she is much more serious throughout the story, and is one of the most intelligent in the pack, as well as one of the most caring. Strena helps her good friend Moonmist take care of she and Trapper's chicks, making sure the young ones don't go wandering off into the blue. When Acanya and Lanex dissapear, Strena and Cyrn prove their loyalty and friendship to Trapper and Moonmist by helping in the hunt from beginning to end. | |||||||||||
