Moonmist is a direct descendant of the first Jurassic Park raptors. Her family lived on Isla Nublar, the first island, where she was born. Later on though, the water became deadly to drink from, and food became scarce, so her pack crossed the distance between the two Islands (raptors can swim, and it isn't too far). Once there, they found that many different beings lived in their new home, and many raptors were killed by the Spino. Out of nearly twenty raptors that arrived, she is the sole survivor. For this, she fears for her future.
