| Quality of Life How good one's life is. Does or will one have their basic Human needs met? Clean water, air, a balanced diet and/or, warmth, clothing and shelter? We also have to consider how good one's psychological and spiritual life is too. Double Effect The intention behind the action - why? What may initially appear to be an immoral act could indeed be justified, if the intention is moral. Ponder this, for this theory could work the other way too, what may seem moral could actually be immoral! Freewill Most of us have the ability to decide for ourselves, what to believe and act approriately, so long as our thoughts, words and actions are moral and do not lead us. or others, across the Base Moral Line.. Relative Morality Moral rules which change in time and space. Such as laws on abortion. Absolute Morality Moral rules that never change in time and space. It is never acceptable to abuse any living creature, for they are ALL sacred! ProcessTheology God is with us. God is ever present, sharing our highs and lows, celebrating our sincerity and comforting us when we are in despair. Predestination Theory God knows what we have thought/said/done, are thinking/saying/doing and will think/say/do; God gives us freewill to do what we know is acceptable. Sanctity of Life ALL life is unique, priceless and irreplaceable, and should be treated as such. God gives and only God can take life. We should treat others as an end in themselves, not as a means to an end. |
