There are plenty of charity web sites, and millions of wonderful, generous people donate millions of dollars to them. But most of the givers are wondering in the back of their minds, "where is the money going?" So little seems to make it down to the people who need it.

Why would someone send me gifts of money? Someone out there, in fact many people, have faced similar circumstances as you or they can relate to your story in one way or another. This is what drives these wonderful people to give you a gift of their money to people like you.

How does this work? It is very simple.

If you are looking for help follow the link on the left to "Do You Need Help" and follow the simple instructions included on the form. We will complete the rest and let you know when you page is viewable (Approx. 48 hours). You will receive an email from your payment processor (i.e. Paypal) stating that you have received funds. After receiving the funds please send a note of thanks to the email address provided from the payment processor.

If you would like to help out a family simply go to our "Please Help" look at the stories of families being told. At the end of the story you will see buttons that will take you directly to the payment processor page for you. Fill in the amount that you would like to give and payment will be sent directly to your recipient family. After the family receives your gift you will be sent an email from the family thanking you.

At any time if you require assistance, please email us at [email protected] with "HELP" in your subject line and we will promptly get back to you and assist you in your needs.

Can I use pictures? Unfortunately no not at this time. It uses up to much space on the servers and we would like to help out as many families as we can.

How much do you charge? There is no charge to use the services of HelpOutAFamily. I am doing this out of the kindness of my heart. If you do feel the need you may contact me by email [email protected] to make a donation for operating costs but in no way are obligated to do so.

I don't know anything about web pages, how can I get mine set up? That is no problem, we do the work for you. Just complete the form on the Please Help page and it will be set up for you.

Do I have to report my gifts as Income? We think so but are not positive. Check with the IRS on that.

Is there any limits on how much I can collect? There are no limits to how much people can gift to you. Don't expect miracles, but on the other hand, in order for dreams to come true, you have to take the first step.

Can I make changes to your my page? Yes, just email [email protected] with Change in the subject line. I will get back to you and it will take approximately 48 hours to update the page. This is still at no charge to you

I'm to embarrassed to ask for help: asking for help may sound embarrassing and a little humbling, but it is honorable to ask for help when you really need it. There are millions of people who donate money to needy folks.
