| Just like anything in life it cost money. So in order to help pay for the proposed new legislation we have come up with some options on how this can be paid for with little to any affect on taxpayers. The money is there and available in the Millions of Dollars to fund this and we have found the money. Now its time for the lawmakers to use the money we have found and introduce new legislation. | |||||||||||||||||
| Option # 1 (Ohio Taxes deduced from Active Duty Service Memeber's Paychecks) | |||||||||||||||||
| * Use money the Ohio Armed Forces members pay out of their paychecks in State Taxes for the State of Ohio and use that money specifically for funding a "State of Ohio G.I. Bill" or "State of Ohio Armed Forces Scholarship". *The State can require through a revision of the state tax code that if an Ohio Armed Forces member would like to recieve a state educational benefit of a proposed "State of Ohio G.I. Bill" or "State of Ohio Armed Forces Scholarship" if they sign an agreement that while on active duty they will not declare residency in another state to avoid paying Ohio Taxes. In exchange they can recieve additional educational aide by the state when they leave active duty status or serivice in the military. * Example: DFAS Form 702 |

| Option # 2 (Inside Millage) | |||||||||||||||||
| *Use "inside Millage" to fund the proposed legislation *Inside Millage is the millage provided by the Constitution of the State of Ohio and is levied without the vote of the people as established very early in the State's history. * Tens of Millions of dollars of inside millage that goes to each of the 88 Veteran Service Commissions in the State of Ohio which was created under the Ohio Revised Code ORC 5901 that suppose to go to Ohio Veterans is not going to Veterans but being used possibly to instead to fund local city government pet projects and not for what its suppose to: Ohio US Military Veterans. |

| Option # 3 Use Unused money from Montgomery G.I. Bill | |||||||||||||||||
| *The federal government has millions of dollars of a surplus each year of unused MGIB funds; which if the state of Ohio requested from the federal government. Would help to pay for a "State of Ohio GI Bill" or "State of Ohio Armed Forces Scholarship". *Unused MGIB Funds: *FY2005-$1627 M; Unused-$650 M *FY2006-$1982 M; Unused-$792 M *FY2007-$2041 M; Unused-$816 M |
