My name is Matt. I am a 6 years old (spiritually)
I went to a church camp in 2000 that changed my life. At Quest church camp on a thursday night I invited Jesus Christ into my heart as my personal Lord and savior.
I was fourteen at the time, and I was very confused about what I was doing. I did not know anything about Christianity back then. Today, I know more than I did, but I am still not perfect, and do not know everything. This is the reason that this site is made, and tailored specifically for new christians, and those that need to grow in thier faith. However, that is not discuraging because of my past, because I refuse to be complacent and I know that God will give me the words, and topics that someone that visits this site will need. I will grow in Christ. I will do this by challenging myself.
I do not know where I am called yet. (though I fear that it is to be a preacher... I don't like talking in front of crowds) But, because I know that it is a possibility that pastor could be what I was made for, to lead a church, I am not going to pass that responsibility up when it does come along. Therefore, because of this possibility, I am preparing myself now. This site is y preparation. I will post bible studies, relevant youth information, and possibly videos that can be used in a youth group setting. (this depends on if I get a good camcorder, editing program, and bandwidth from Yahoo!)
I look forward to serving the Father while keeping my christian faith, and growing in christ as I add material and edit content of this site.
In addition, I am currently going through the "Experiencing God" study by Richard Blackaby & Henry Blackaby. I am looking forward to the things that God has in store for me.
