All of the things that are taught are about
Origins,
Trust,
Acceptance.
Lets just first look at the origins (we may or may not touch on the other points--probably not)
First, we are going to make one assumption. That the Earth evolved. The Earth started out as a bunch of swirling dist that was attracted by static electricity. This is plausible, that the Earth could have been formed in this way. I mean, they proved that this does happen with salt on the space shuttle (had salt in a plastic bag, and it clumped together.
Okay, now that the Earth has been formed, lets look at getting the water here (because all life on Earth is based on about 80-90%+ water) It is said that the water would have come in on comets, in ice form, and when impacting with Earth, added mass to the Earth by the ice melting, and adding water. The dust from the comets only added further to Earths mass in small amounts (in proportion to the current size of the Earth.)
Okay, so now we have water. What about life, because without the smallest amino acids forming the first creature, then we wouldnt be here.
Life originated with amino acids coming together to form the first amoebas. This was about 400 Billion years ago. Since that time, creatures have evolved to thier current state, and some have been killed by natural selection, because thier bodies were not fitted for the way that the Earth had became. These creatures had to be formed in male and female at one time, at the same time (well what is the average life of lets say a monkey?.. about 30 years?... (lets assume that it was monkey, because that is where man came from) Ok, so with the first monkey, there would have been about a 26 year timeframe that the other sex could have been born so that they could make little monkeys. This is true for all sexual production. The assexual reproducing creatures would not have to worry about this, because they do not need another of the oposite sex to create another similar creature.
Ok, now that we know where the Earth came from, lets look at something else. What are the odds that all of this would actually come to pass?

The first thing is the timeframe.--- according to the timeline of the sciptures, the Earth is only about 6000 years old (from the time that we see that the Earth was formed in Gen 1:1... there is some dispute about the timeframe between 1:1, and 1:2.. but we will not go into this) From this timeframe it took the "creator" 6 days to create everything that we see on this Earth. The water was here from the beginning, because it says in Gen 1:2 that the Spirit of God hovered above the waters... doesn't say hovered above the land. Okay, so that solves the 80-90% water problem. Now God the creator makes all living things, the moon and stars, and the sun (to seperate night from day), with man being the last thing that he makes. One thing that is not stated is reference to time. Yes, the Bible does say that it was so many days to create everything that we know.... but what is this relevance of time based on? On the "first day" God created the sun and moon, so what was the sense of time? is it just as we view one day today?.. as the sun coming up in the morning, to the sun coming up the next morning as one day?... I am not sure. But lets just say that this timeframe is the same as one Earth day. This means that the approximate 6000 year age of the Earth is correct, because if it was not then three Earth months could have been the "first day" because of the correspondance of one Earth day to one God day the Billions of years old Earth could not be true. (see next paragraph.. this is assimung that 1day=1day)
However, when you look at the evidence provided, and the fact that God says that he cannot lie (Num 23:19) and that all scripture is the word of God (2 Tim 3:16). If in direct coorolation you can find any one thing that has been proven to be historically correct in the Bible, then thus, then whole Bible is true because God says that he cannot lie, and that all scriptures are his word, therefore, anything that is in the Bible is true because it is the Word of God. (might try looking for the city Tyre, or possibly "did Jesus exist" (even as *just a man* if he did exist, then because the Bible is Gods word, and he cannot lie, then Jesus was the son of God... which means that he was not *just a man*)
I will let you believe whatever you would like, because I cannot make any decision for you. I can only give you information, and let the Holy Spirit convict in you what is correct, and what is a lie. I will refuse to let my belief be shaken because I know that I have a personal relationship, that I would not trade for anything in the world.
