Q. How do I know I am not getting cheated out of my money?
A. You really don't and I am sorry for that. I have given you all my information and I am sharing with you my financial records each month. If you can think of any other ways to help you feel more comfortable....I am more then willing to listen and try to incorporate your ideas.
Q. Why are you doing this?
A. I have explained that already. I want to be able to get a better job and will have to give up school if I don't find a way to pay for it and the bills I have.
Q. Why don't you just get another job?
A. I live in a small community. I travel 30 miles one way to get to work now. I always keep my eyes open and send out resumes when I see something that will pay better. I can't (or won't) move for a couple more years since my kids will graduate then. They have had enough unrest in their lives (watching a marriage fall apart, watching their father get busted for drugs and having to go through de-tox of the oldest).
Q. What happens when you get the money you need?
A. I will post on this site that the money has been received. Then it will be up to the people who have given if I continue on and try to help others or if they just want the site to go away. I am hoping that others can get the same benefits as I do from this and would like to set up a way to help them.
Q. Isn't there other programs that you can get help from?
A. I have tried all the ones I know of....including scholarships and grants. I have gotten some help but I still can barely keep food on the table. I am not the type of person to go out and yet there is no money left after rent, electric, gas and insurance. Add in the food and I am done before I even start.
Q. Is there a way to contact you?
A. Yes. I set up an email just for this purpose. [email protected]
Q. How much should I give?
A. That is up to you. Anything will help when enough people give. I don't want to strap anyone, so if you can only give a dollar, then only give that much.
