| When we visited India earlier this year I was keen to see the traditional block printed fabrics from Rajhastan. We were lucky enough to watch the printing of these simple cottons and I bought a wood block as a souvenir.
Having experimented with printing on fabric and paper (not nearly as easy as it appeared in the hands of the experienced) I have used this simple attractive motif in my card designs for this Christmas.
Reproduced on the computer, this allows a uniformity in the designs and also a printed message inside. Packs of 6 cards of the same design are 12, which is the same price as last year despite current inflation, and can be personalised with your own message for an extra 1 per pack. |
