Ruby Nordby cd release party Mclooneytunes Sissy Lisa Hi! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Helen Nordby. I am 23 years old (hehe not really) and live in Winona, Minnesota. The picture above was taken on Garvin Heights and overlooks Lake Winona. Fall is wonderful in Minnesota and I enjoy the beautiful colors it brings. Winter on the other hand can just seem too long sometimes. Spring is always a highly anticipated event of which I am always thankful.
I grew up in Rushford, MN , a town of 1700 people. It was a great place to grow up and I wouldn't change my childhood in any way. I have many great friends from high school and I am one of those few who love going to class reunions. Hey I even loved being on the class reunion committee! I moved to Winona, a town about 25 miles away, when I graduated from high school and I've been here ever since. I have a job I love, working at WORC, and I've been working there for more years than I care to mention. They've been good years.
I enjoy photography as one of my hobbies. That doesn't mean all of my photos are the greatest, but I enjoy it so much! Some photos are good, some are bad but you know what? You don't have to show anyone the bad ones!! The fall foliage is spectacular in my area and can make for a fun day of picture taking. As far as pictures of myself go, I'm still trying to find a good one. Uffda.....(that's Norwegian for just about everything) Here are a few pictures of my family, my friends, or pictures I just get a kick out of.
I enjoy most music, especially ballads and blues. Slow songs are my favorite, but if you play an Eagles tune I'm sure to be happy. I love the harmonies. Just keep that rapcrap away from me!
The big news is that my sister Ruby Nordby has completed her first cd. If you would like a copy, you can email me and we can send you one. They're $10. Mclooney Tunes has graciously put one of her songs on their website, so if you'd like to hear a song from the cd, here it is! Ruby has been working on this for awhile and it turned out great! I don't think I'm biased, it's just that good! She wrote every song on the album.

I think I'll dedicate a page to our good friend Lisa. She has been the greatest friend that anyone could ask for. Don't tell her this, but we keep her around because she knows all our secrets. Well, she keeps them too! Here is Lisa's page!

Right now I'm calling him Tweeter Pie. He answers to them all so that makes it easy. Here is my sweet kitty. He actually posed for this picture!
