a or lhe? a => her, it (unstressed object pronoun, complement of transitive verbs) Eu não a vi. I haven't seen her.
lhe => her, it (unstressed object pronoun, complement of prepositional verbs) Eu lhe dei um livro. I gave her a book.
as or lhes? as => them (unstressed object pronoun, complement of transitive verbs) Eu não as vi. I haven't seen them.
lhes => them (unstressed object pronoun, complement of prepositional verbs) Eu lhes dei um livro. I gave them a book.
vos or vós? vos => you plural (unstressed object pronoun) Eu vos dei um livro. I gave you a book.
vós => you plural (subject pronoun) Vós aprendeis português. You (guys) learn Portuguese.
vós => you plural  (stressed object pronoun, used after prepositions) Ensino português a vós. I teach Portuguese to you (guys).
