há + period of time *(from the past to the present)* Há is not a preposition; it's a form of verb haver	for + period of time	Estudo alemão há seis anos.	I've been studying German for six years.
durante	during	Ele foi prisioneiro durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial.	He was a prisoner during the Second World War.
depois de após Remember: de + o = do de + a = da de + os = dos de + as = das	after	Estarei em casa depois da festa. Vou descansar após as apresentações. Ela sempre toma banho depois de nadar.
