| • Live music generated interactively with
movement or dance. It means performances in which the music is generated or
modified by the movement or the choreography of the performer or dancer,
respectively. Those movements send to the computer and other el. instruments all
the information needed to generate and modify the music during the performance.
The works pertaining to the Audio art Cycle include new techniques of playing computers and traditional instruments using special interfaces which digitizes body movements, acoustic sounds, light and shadows degrees, etc. |
• Live music for acoustic and electronic instruments. The IWEI Cycle of interactive pieces in which computers are controlled by a wind electronic instrument. There is no pre-recorded material. The music played on the wind controller is immediately sent to loudspeakers and becomes one of the parts (tracks) of the piece. Simultaneously, this music is “heard” by the computer and in real time it computes this information and generates music accordingly, reacting to the input in a pre-programmed way. This music become the other parts (tracks ) of the piece. A very rich and complicated polyphony could be created from a single line of music. | • Live Music with animated images projection. The Works pertaining to the cycle Interactive digital drawing & projection are those in which there is a live computer performance on a system based on electronic instruments and a desktop projector. The movements the performer needs to do on the computer screen generate images and act over the musical material | • There is also music for solo
instruments, music for chamber ensembles, music for orchestra, music for
loudspeakers and music for “tape” and acoustic instruments.
