While you are showering, after you've finished washing and are ready to get out, turn the heat down on your back or backbone or whatever body part shocks you while doing an aura exercise. Not too cold, more like refreshing. Maybe like a warm pool temperature or when you have a "cold" = lukewarm shower in the summer to try and refresh yourself. Try and shape this rush just once when it comes on, grab it, or imagine it able to be manipulated then solidify it and let it go.
Instead of working with the aura surrounding you, imagine drawing energy inward toward some point, perhaps your heart. Relax and imagine energy flowing from all parts of your body toward your chest or heart. You may wish to inhale while doing this. When you believe you have drawn the energy of your body in fully or your chest begins to tighten up noticeably, release your hold, exhale, and allow the energy to pulse out and away. Try thinking a signal during the release. Relax and wait a few seconds before you repeat.
To me this comes under the “fooling you” category. It is an attempt to get you to loosen up the second time you do the exercise. Sitting at a table, tap your index finger against the table top repeatedly for several strikes. Then pause holding it up in the air and think the word "Bang," (or "Pow" or your choice.) Then tap your finger again one or more times, then softer this time think the word "Bang" again. I'm going with "bang" because I believe you may be able to harness your negative feelings and energy in this case in a useful way.

Instead of using your head and the aura surrounding it, use your arms and hands. Lightly stroke your forearm from the wrist to the elbow. Do not massage yourself but stroke lightly like tickling yourself or lifting the hair on your body. Do this for a few seconds. While doing this, imagine aura there or not there. Move it around with your hand, where you want, when you want. Barely lift your hand and feel the energy or warmth of it floating above your arm. You may feel the energy collect in your body or forehead. Allow that to happen.
Lightly touch your left arm with your right hand, stroking slowly from elbow to wrist. Imagine energy traveling with your right hand as you do so. Imagine you are charging your left hand with the energy. Imagine the charge collects and intensifies. Then imagine the charge passes to your right hand when held near your open left. Lightly stroke your right arm. Do all this while relaxed. Do it casually.
Do a similar exercise not actually touching your left arm, but floating your right hand closely above.
Reward yourself with some stroking of both arms after each exercise.
Sometimes, don't bother to do the energy pass or connection after the arm stroke.
Rub your hands together lightly in a circular motion. Then draw them apart and up to shoulder height as you relax. Feel the energy collect at your heart and front of your body. Try drawing it up into your head. Allow this to pulse by closing your eyes for a count of two. Then relax. Repeat until the energy is gone.
Put your hands lightly on your hair and strike up a rush. Then lift your hands to about two inches away from your head and move them around comfortably, occasionally touching your hair. Through your scalp or with your head, try to feel your hand there and where it is. Do not complain “well I know where my hand is, I can move and feel it.” Instead try to feel it with your head (or scalp.) While you remain relaxed, imagine the energy flowing onto your hands “charging” them. Try to feel a warmth going onto your hands, though they are a couple of inches away. Move your hands away to somewhere comfortable like your sides. Feel the static discharge as you move your thoughts/focus away. Remain relaxed and allow the energy to dissipate. Imagine or feel the energy building up and discharging each time. Repeat this a few times or until you can no longer bring up a rush.
Do this when you are home alone doing something, or alone driving in your car. Talk to yourself in your head, or sing along with the radio, in your head. Sing along out loud if you want to. Perhaps only chorus out loud. Hum if you would rather. Try not to feel too stupid about this.
Be assertive in your self talk. When you have a definite thought or some kind of yes, say it aloud. The thought said aloud may act as reinforcement of your self talk. Say “Nothing...,” or something like that when questioned.
Do this when you are home alone doing something, or when you are alone driving in your car. Talk to yourself in your head, or sing along with the song on the radio, in your head. When you come to a definite thought or some kind of yes, say it aloud. Be assertive in your self talk. Sing along out loud if you want to. I'm saying that saying the thought aloud acts as reward and reinforcement, hum if you'd rather (while thinking the words.) Kind of half of the time thought, half of the time out loud. Chorus out loud. Try not to lose control in the fun, humor or seeming stupidity of this.
Shout a word in your head, something silly or that makes you happy. As loud a thought as you can manage. Pause for a count of two, the shout again. Repeat that until you are tired or you've done it for a minute or so. Relax for a few seconds... try a signal.
Start shouting a word in your head repeatedly, something silly or that makes you happy. As loud a thought as you can manage. Don't keep count, but do it a bunch of times. Take a short pause and inhale. Then calmly think the word at normal conversational level. Don't burn yourself out with this exercise.
Relax. Like aura expansion, radiate or push out some words like you are speaking to a dog or a hard-of-hearing person from in your head. Perhaps slowly but more like emphatically. Breathe out a little on each thought word, breathe in between each group. Note: You should be using timing rather than separate breaths on the breathing out. (reword)
Example:
“One,” (while breathing out a little) “Two,” (continue breathing out a little)
“Three,” (ditto) “Four,” (ditto) then breathe in,
“One,” (while breathing out a little) “Two,” (continue breathing out a little) ...
After doing this for some time, begin doing this exercise toward a target. Relax and keep calm control rather than tightening up and forcing. Do not worry about success.
Note: Here I had my first direct contributor suggesting more of a simple approach... using “Ah, Ah, Ah, Oh” - if that's just a joke see for yourself.
Note: Personally I usually voice my thoughts in my vocal cords while thinking this way. Feel free.
Here you are going to imagine you can see the aura of your receiver before you try to pulse it/them with energy. Simply take a moment to see them there, while you relax. Imagine they have a surrounding aura. Then imagine a link between your aura and theirs. Bring up a stroke or tingle and imagine it active in your aura, the link and their aura (usually their head.) Remain relaxed. You may add this: immediately after you make contact try to imagine breaking through, dissolving, shattering or even powering up (making it stronger) their aura. Mostly, and definitely at first you will want to use the head of your receiver as your target. Later you may use other places but at first use the head (ALSO though, their sense organs or sensitive spots may be used early as well – eyes, ears, lips, neck, temples, there are others.)
Using a hard ball or easy to throw ball (and glove or a ball for no-glove but that you can throw well,) throw the ball to a partner and follow the ball through the air mentally all the way until your partner catches it. When you are catching you may not have to bother to follow. Try and feel the ball moving all the way there. Rather than squinting or stressing or tightening up as the ball goes, relax and try to lightly Feel it moving. An easy toss should be O.K.. You should already be comfortable throwing and catching before you bother with this exercise, so you will get the ball to your partner and be able to catch the return without stressing too hard.

You can laugh if the idea is similar to super-slow weight lifting. Do a strengthening exercise repeatedly. Do it slowly and concentrate upon the actions until you are pleased with the accuracy of your effort (very nearly completely) or you have done the exercise repeatedly for a set number of times (more than two.) Then relax and do a signal. Because you may relax over a period of time, feel free to repeat the signal for a short period or set, then stop. My belief is that after you gain function you can begin to lighten or remove the strengthening starter, shortly to none. After, you may want to do strengthening exercises occasionally. You may be able to heighten your capabilities or explore other abilities, if any, depending on what you know or believe.
After you are familiar with the exercises and doing some sort of regular program, do a strengthening exercise immediately followed with a signal. Do that for a couple of months. Then swap the order you do the two in now signal attempt then strengthening. Swap back and forth at will.
You know the feeling when your leg falls asleep, pins and needles. This is not a very good exercise, but if you sit cross-legged already you may have this feeling anyway, so if you want to use it, feel free. Maybe while you are sitting in a class or meeting or at a desk, sit on your leg. You are cutting off blood flow here, that's why I say this may not be a good exercise. When your leg falls asleep, and you get that fuzzy feeling, try to manipulate that feeling. Flex the fuzz inward and outward similar to an aura exercise or simply try to manipulate the energy feeling. Do it for as long as you like. This fuzzy feeling, though it may be disturbing here, is a way to visualize the aura or energy idea. The energy you want to picture or feel when using the aura ideas is fuzzy like that, though not painful or disturbing.
