Scofield, or Logan family I would love to hear from them. I have been unable to find the maiden name of William Francis's mother Henrietta Dorothee who went by the Americanized version Dorothy.
William Francis Rines known as Frank was born in 1867 in Kent County Delaware. His parents Henry L Rines and Henrietta Dorothee? both immigrants from Germany. He married Sarah Anastasia Gavin in 1891 in Philadelphia. They had 3 children; Francis J born in 1892, Anna D born 1896, and an unknown child. Sarah died in 1904 and William "Frank" remarried to Hannah Ella Schofield also know by her middle name Ella in 1907. She was the daughter of Robert Scofield and Rebecca Logan both immigrants from England. They had a daughter Mary Ella Rines in 1908.Mary was enrolled in the Cradle Roll Department of the Grace United Evangelical Sunday school on May 12, 1909 so it is supposed that the family was Evangelical in faith. Does anyone know where this church was located?
William 'Frank' Rines was working as a carpenter in 1900 and in an iron foundry in 1910.He died of appendicitis in 1918 and was buried at Fernwood Cemetery, Fernwood, PA. Hannah Ella who worked as a dressmaker died in 1931 of cerebral hemorrhage and was buried at Calvary Cemetery in Rockdale, PA.
