Corvair Monza Coupe-The '64 model was the best of
the first. By 1964 numerous improvements had made their way into
the Corvair. A rear transaxle spring had been added, for much needed
stability, the engine displacement had been increased from 145 cubic inches
to 164 cubic inches. The solid
harmonic balancer of previous years had been replaced by a rubber mounted
unit to reduced vibration.
