1965 Corvair Monza-
This is a photo of the rear of the 1965 Corvair Monza.  The body as well as the chassis was totally redesigned for the '65 model.  Underneath, suspension ideas were borrowed from the Chevrolet Corvette.  As in all previous models, the engine was in the back. It's displacement wasn't changed but two things were improved to squeeze a little more horsepower.  On the Corsa model a person could opt for the 140 hp, four carburetor version or they could go all out and get the 180 hp turbocharged model.  Quite a change from the 80 hp engine that was offered on the '60 Corvair!
