1961 Corvair Monza Coupe-
In 1961 Corvair sales were doing good but not good enough.  The Corvair team at General Motors decided that an interior overhaul would do the trick.  They introduced the Corvair Monza.  It offered bucket seats, rear side glass that rolled down, and a carpeted floor.

In 1961 General Motors also offered the Corvair in a station wagon and like the others the engine was in the back.

Along with the Corvair Greenbriar Van....................

and the Rampside pickup.

In all actuality the Rampside was one of the more inventive ideas that GM had come up with.  As stated earlier, all these models had the motors mounted in the rear.
