Dear Families,
Greetings! I will be your child's 1st grade teacher this year. Therefore, I thought it would be appropriate to introduce myself.
This is my first year teaching first grade at Sandy Creek Elementary. I graduated from SUNY Oswego in May 2002 and I am finishing my Masters in Reading through SUNY Oswego as well.
I grew up in Pulaski, N.Y. and now reside in Oswego, N.Y. I live in Oswego with my husband Geoff and my dog Maddie. I love to down-hill ski, go camping, spend time with my family, and teach first grade.
I have many exciting and fun things planned for your child this year. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with my first grade learners, as well learn from them.
I feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with your child. Together we can make a difference in their life. This is a partnership between you and me.
