TTW ask the students questions about rainforest animals. 1. What are some of the names of some of the rainforest animals? 2. What do they animals do? 3. Where do they live? 4. What do they eat? 5. What sounds do they make? b. TTW put the student�s answers on a chart. Ex. Names Do Live Eat Sounds Monkeys swing emergent layer flowers, roots birds, eggs, frogs, fruit, leaves, nuts Procedure 2: a. TSW predict what happens in Hide and Snake by Keith Baker. b. TTW read the story. c. TSW answer comprehension questions about the story. Procedure 3: a. TTW tell the students facts about snakes. b. TSW tell facts that they have learned about snakes. Procedure 4: a. TTW give each student a snake coloring page. b. TSW color the snake.
