Crocodile Song
Oh, she sailed away
On a fine and sunny day
On the back of a crocodile.
You see said she,
He's as tame as tame can be,
I'll ride him down the Nile.

The crock winked his eye
As the lady waved goodbye,
Wearing a great big smile.
But at the end of the ride
The lady was inside
And the smile was on the crocodile!

Procedure 1:
a. TSW predict what happens in Have you seen my Crocodile? by Colin West.
b. TTW read the story.
c. TSW answer comprehension questions about the story.

Procedure 2:
a. TTW tell the students facts about crocodiles.
b. TSW tell what they have learned about crocodiles.

Procedure 3:
a. TTW give each student a word search puzzle.
b. TSW complete a rainforest word search.

Procedure 4:
a. TTW give each student a coloring page of a crocodile.
b. TSW color the crocodile.
c. TTW display the student�s work.
