Yep, Paul's in the Coast Guard now which means we're back to LDR status once again.  For those who aren't aware of what the Coast Guard is, it's the branch of
the military that looks after the homefront and is foremost in Homeland Security! 
While they're watching the borders, they're rescuing boaters and refugees, chasing drug dealers and poachers, and maintaining the marine environment while teaching water safety among other various duties.  As always with the military, the spouses
and families are stuck at home awaiting their return from a post.  Depending on the assigned duty Coastie families could be reunited every day or it could be weeks or even months between leaves.  A Coastie's life is never easy but does have its good moments!  As we begin our journey into this new life this page will be maintained,
by the Coastie wife mainly, and will try to bring insight to new Coastie spouses
checking out this page as well as anyone else who may be involved in an LDR.
