Greetings and salutations!  On behalf of Paul and myself welcome to the sister
site of Worlds Apart - Hearts Together.  In case you're not familiar with our story,
Paul and I met via a penpal club 8 years ago, became friends and fell in love.  We
were finally able to end the agonizing LDR (long distance relationship) in 2000
when Paul finished college and after going through the motions with the INS,
Paul moved to NY from the UK and we were married. 

This site will focus on surviving "happily ever after".  As we found out, as much as
you may love each other, living with a new person can be a rollercoaster especially
on the occasion when ethnic differences get in the way.  We'll be focusing on an
aspect of the LDR that's new to us, military life, and you'll get an insight on what
makes us tick individually including favorite links.
