The Reception

The reception, immediately followed the ceremony, was held at River Place Country Club. After greeting the couple and their parents in a receiving line, the buffet dinner consisted of chicken and beef fajitas and chicken chipotle enchiladas, Southwestern salad, rice and beans.

The bride's cake was a four-tiered wedding cake on a silver pedestal topped with light pink roses and hydrangea. The groom's cake was a three-tiered German chocolate cake topped with chocolate drizzle and chocolate-dipped strawberries.

James Roberts, father of the bride, and Christopher Ortiz, the best man and brother of the groom, toasted the couple who danced their first dance to �More Than Love� by Los Lonely Boys. The bride and her father and the groom and his mother danced to �My Girl� by the Temptations. The bride�s grandfather honored her with a country waltz to the song �Waltz Across Texas.�

Miss Audrey Rodriguez, cousin of the groom, caught the bouquet and Mr. Marcus Lopez, cousin of the groom, caught the garter.

Fun and dancing with family and friends filled the night.
