Names to know
The Holy Triune: the name given to the three gods that came together to form one all powerful entity.
Euroke: better known as Eric, was born unto Vasorath and Seasaru, and is the third member of the Triune. He came to earth in human form in order to defeat Yaran, freeing Ithillian from several thousand years of tyrany.
Macereen: angelic beings created to serve the Holy Triune.
Mongor: The Dark God. He attempted to take over the earth but he was defeated.
Yaran: The High Macereen, he killed Mongor, but then turned against the Holy Triune.
Mongor: God of Darkness, though he is dead, his minions still roam the earth seeking revenge
Flame: Lord of Dragons, he was made Gaurdian of the Earth after Yaran fell.
Dravena: a great prophet of the Holy Triune, he wrote many scriptures.
History of Ithillian
The Holy Triune Created the world, and everything in it. In the beginning there were only two races, Elves and Men. He appointed Yaran as governor, and charged him to protect the world and help it�s inhabitance prosper. Yaran founded the nation of Churn, which served as his capital.
Mongor waged war on Yaran�s armies for five hundred years, but was finally defeated.
Soon after defeating Mongor, Yaran decided to turn against the Holy Triune. He began to create goblins and other evil creatures in order to serve his purposes. Many of the Macereen joined his cause, and War ensued. After 100 years of war, a treaty was signed, that bound Yaran to stay in churn for 1000 years, and his armies could not attack for 100.
Vasorath saw that there were not enough men and elves to stand against Yaran, so he created the four low races: men, elves, dwarves, and trolls. The original men and elves are now called High Men, and High Elves, they live much longer, and have greater potential for magic.
Fast forward to the present.
Twenty years ago, Yaran was defeated by Eric, but not killed. When Eric entered the battle Yaran and his minions fled, and went into hiding. Eric went back across the Great Sea, but left behind his sword. The sword is the only weapon that can kill Yaran, and is in the hands of Richard, the King of Mandaria.
Over the past few years Yaran has begun to come forth from his stronghold. His minions still roam the earth, and are especially bothersome in regions that are not very populated. Nonaly is a new nation that is in need of warriors to fight off the hoards of orcs and undead that threaten to destroy it. The High Council, (made of the most powerful wizards in the land) has sent many young fighters and wizards to Nonaly for training, and to help protect it, and to persuade the nation to help in the fight against Yaran.
