Nonaly is an up start nation in the northern part of Ithilian (the world). It is one of the few nations where men, elves, dwarves, trolls, pheonix, and drakes all live as one. All of our adventures will take place in Nonaly.
How is Live Action Role Play different from a normal RPG table top, or computer game?
They are quite similar in that you make a character and improve his stats. The cool thing with larping however, is that you physicaly are your character. You are placed in the middle of all the action like no other RPG can. Other people will play the minions you have to fight, so you get the full combative experince.
Do I need to create a charater before I come?
No, we actualy incourage players to come and get a feel for the game before they start a character. This will help you role play better, and know how you want to play your character.
How much does it cost?
Right now money is not an issue. We just want people to come and have a good time. We do incourage players to give a small donation of either cash, or some kind of prop. Players who donate to the game recieve 1 XP for every $5 donated. Players will often take advantage of this opertunity to up level.
What age restrictions are there?
If you are under 18 you will need to have a parent or guardian sign a consent form.
If you are under the age of 12 you must have an older relitive with you at all times.
Is it safe?
Any kind of physical activity involves risk. You could hurt your back when working out at the gym. You could break your nose playing basketball. The rules are set up to make the game as safe as possible. We have never had anyone get hurt beyond the every day bruse or cut.
Do you use real weapons?
ABSOLUTLY NOT!!!
We make mock weapons out of foam and ductape. They are very safe when made properly. If a weapon is dangerous it will be removed from play. We always put safty first.
