| TEXAS Update--Part three October 7th-9th--We rode to Snyder today. About half way there it started raining. We were riding by a house, when it started really coming down. We stopped and asked if we could wait it out on his porch. He asked us in. We were able to minister to him and he made a decision for Christ. There is a purpose in ALL things--even the rain! We rode on to Snyder in the drizzle. It rained the next day too. We had extra money and stayed in a motel for two nights. We were able to minister to several people while there. On Wednesday, we checked out and spent the day at the library, so the kids could do school. We were able to talk to quite a few people there in Snyder. Wednesday night we went to The Word is Life Church. It was a real encouragement and we were able to share with alot of people. The kids went to youth church, and were called on to give their testimony. They were also able to pray for the other kids. We spent the night with a couple from the church. They have a prison ministry and God had been telling them to step out beyond. We were able to encourage them, as they encouraged us. |

| October 10th--Gail TX!! There is nothing there! Or so everyone says. There was an RV park where we spent the night. There was also a store/cafe where we ate dinner and breakfast. Both times while in the cafe, quite a few people came in and we were able to share. So when someone says, "There is nothing there." We must always remember, even if there is only a handful of people, there are still souls that Jesus loves! October 12-13--We got to Seminole today. The Lord led us to a church called Day Spring. Pastors Freda and Mark were there with there elders having a meeting. They invited us to stay at there house. We had a great time of fellowship with them. They were on the edge of stepping out on some things that God had laid on their heart and we were able to encourage them to do so. On Sunday morning, Pastor Freda turned the service over to us. The Holy Spirit really moved. It was just the word that the body needed. October 14th--We got to New Mexico today! We really saw the Lord move on peoples lives in Texas. Alot of hearts were changed for Him. We covered alot of miles in the BIG state of Texas. It was good to see the New Mexico line! See New Mexico for more awesome reports on God's hand moving across the land. |
