| Easy Love Chapter: 4 Spreading the News Monday morning... Andie turned over and met the sun with a wide grin. She couldn�t believe the joy that coursed through her veins as she remembered what happened last night. Her and Dawson and their first kiss greeted her and warmed her all the way down to her toes. She hadn�t felt this way in a long time and she couldn�t help but laugh out loud. Dawson chuckled himself awake, the image of her face floating around his head. Turning onto his back he yawned as he stretched his limbs. Letting one of his arms rest above his head he let the other hand brush over his lips with his fingertips thinking about her kiss. If he closed his eyes and let his mind just rest he swore that he could still taste her. The thought just made his entire body tingle. Jumping out of bed with sheer excitement she ran down the hall to her brother�s room and knocked once and then opened the door without waiting for a response. Running at breakneck speed, she jumped on top of his bed and landed partially on his back. He groaned not fully awake. �Jack! Wake-up! It�s Monday, and it�s time for school!� She practically squealed in his ear. She was merely met with a groan and a mumble about it being to early and bright. �Come on! We can�t be late!� She remarked shaking his body with extreme vigor. �Don�t make me kill you before breakfast!� He mumbled into his pillow. �No, no, no!� She sang softly with a smile. �There will be no homicides this morning.� She ruffled his hair. He finally unable to ignore her turned to look at her. �What�s gotten into you? You are even more jaunty then usual.� �Just the Autumn air!� She replied. �And maybe a little romantic vibe.� She hinted before jumping off the bed and heading for the bathroom to take a shower. He lye there for a moment before her words sunk in. �Romantic vibe? What romantic vibe? Andie!� He yelled jumping out of the bed and running out after his sister. Capeside High School� Joey sighed deeply as she made her way through the double doors of her high school and toward her locker. She felt the arms around her right before his lips met her neck intimately a moment later. �There�s my favorite girl.� He whispered in her ear keeping his arms secure around her waist as they walked toward her locker. She smiled glad to feel him so close to her. �I�m your only girl!� She remarked leaning into him as they stopped before her locker. �Don�t trouble me with semantics, woman!� He ordered turning her around and pulling her close to him. Resting his forehead against hers he kissed her lips. When they pulled apart she exhaled deeply. �What was that for?� Reaching up he brushed a few stray hairs away from her face and looked deeply into her soulful brown eyes. �Just for being you� and loving me.� He whispered sincerely. She smiled and waited a moment before she got serious. �Pacey about the other night�� �I know� and trust me, there is nothing that bothers me about Andie staying in Capeside. I�m glad that she�s here and I believe that she�ll be happy and that�s all I want for her. I just wasn�t sure if being here was something that she wanted or something that she felt pressured into doing. And I think that that�s what bothered me so much you know? The not knowing because I worry about her. She�s a friend and I can�t help that.� She nodded understanding. �I know. And I wouldn�t love you if you didn�t care about the people in your life. I just wanted to know what was happening.� �I was just worried that she was making a decision because she felt like she had to.� �You mean because Dawson asked her to stay?� He nodded. �Andie has this thing about needing to make things right and sometimes she puts herself and her health on the line to do it. I just didn�t want her to do that this time. I don�t think it had anything to do with Dawson at all. I was more worried about her motives.� He remarked. �But believe me when I tell you, I love you.� She smiled. �I know. And I�m glad that you care so much. It just shows how beautiful you are.� �So what�s on the agenda for us today after school?� �You tell me.� He let his eyes wander around the hall as though he were giving her statement some serious thought. �I was thinking you� and me, somewhere alone. Maybe in some kind of air-conditioned quarters perhaps.� He insinuated raising his eyebrows up and down suggestively. All she could do was smile about to answer but was cut short by the outburst further down the hall� Two minutes earlier� Jen closed her locker and nearly jumped out of her skin when she was met with Jack�s smiling face. �You are never going to believe what I have to tell you.� He stated. �If this is another one of our favorite child delinquent plans, at least give me until after first period so that my senses can be in full engaging mode.� She droned still somewhat asleep. Jack leaned over and whispered something in her ear before pulling back and waiting. �Dawson and Andie kissed?� She practically screamed drawing the attention of the young brunette couple standing further down the hall. |
