~ Making Slavewine ~
You must gather sip root, then seep it in ka-la-na for a long time (watch it carefully so it does not burn).  Then cool it and store it in bottles or botas.
1.  Sip root must be gathered fresh or from the medical supply cabinet
2.  The root needs to be washed and scrubbed thoroughly then chopped
with the cooking knife (remember you need permission if you wish
to use the knife outside of the kitchen) or broken with your hands
into fair-sized chunks.  This is pretty similar to preparing Earth
     potatoes for boiling
3.  Place the clean, chopped siproot in a large cooking kettle.  The pot
needs to be at least double the size of the amount of root.  Hang the
pot over the fire and add the liquid ingredient, ka-la-na.  cyn would
suggest using an inferior ka-la-na that might be available and unfit
     for serving the Free
4.  The "brew" needs to be monitored closely, stirred often with a large
wooden paddle to insure that it doesn't scorch or stick as it cooks
and seeps ever so slowly over the fire for the required 12 ahn.  Add
more ka-la-na as necessary as it simmers
5.  Once the cooking process is complete, remove the kettle carefully
from the fire and set it aside to cool.  Again this process may take a
few ahn depending on the quantity and size of the cooking vessel
6.  Fetch a number of empty bottles or botas, a small funnel and ladel
from the supply room.  Carefully fill the bottles with the cooled
mixture and cork them.  The filled bottles can be store in the
medical cabinet.  Be sure to clean up your work area, the kettle and
     any utensils used.
