I'm an Herbalife distributor who has been consistently on all the products for the past 10 years. I have a very bad family history of osteoporosis and heart disease. However the doctor did say that I would need to stay on medication (taking thyroxine) for the rest of my life but that doesn't affect anything else - I was told that I could continue to have children if I want to!! But anyway, my condition improved a lot since the operation and I recovered pretty quickly - much to everybody's astonishment. I think it's because Herbalife has done a good job. I was taking F2 & F3 in the weeks leading up to the operation, they really gave me the strength to recover quickly. (The surgeon told me later that I was a real bleeder!) About 8 years ago, I began to experience a great deal of pain. I

I just came back from an STS in Raleigh and a woman there shared what she takes for fibromyalgia. Hi everyone - my name is Tim . I have been combating Acute Chronic Crohn's Disease (the worst kind of Crohn's ). It attacks suddenly and without warning for acute patients. Chronic means that I'll have it the rest of my life. I am finally starting to question that!

Colitis and Crohn's Disease (12/29/2002)
Last year 2000, I suffered from a bad attack of Bronchitis which put me in hospital and subsequently I found that as an after effect I developed a form of progressive neuropathy which meant that my legs and feet were extremely painful and in fact virtually stopped working altogether.
I spent some two weeks in Hospital and six months recuperating from this condition. In about July I started taking Herbalife products (F1, F2, F3, N.R.G. and Roseox).
Now I was a little dubious about these �Herbal things� as I was taking a bucketful of prescription drugs and have suffered from Ulcerative Colitis and subsequently Chron's disease for some 10 years.
I could not believe the transformation in my energy levels and feeling of wellbeing that affected me in just a few weeks. I also started to take the Aloe Vera concentrate for my digestive system and feel 100% better that this time last year. My weight is under control, my Crohn's Disease is comfortable and the neuropathy is virtually non-existent.
I now walk a couple of hours each day during the week.
I cannot recommend Herbalife products highly enough to Crohn's sufferers and anyone else wanting to improve their general wellbeing, be it weight loss or otherwise.
My Specialist could not believe my Blood Test results at the last meeting. He has been caring for my condition since it began some 10 years ago and admits he has never seen my results looking so good! Crohn's Disease is essentially inflammatory bowel disease. It is a genetically derived condition which is not curable, but can be managed with attention to diet and stress management. Some people need medication continuously and others can manage their condition with rarely needing medication.
People with Crohn's can use most of our products with the exception of fiber. Anyone with a colon problem should change their diets gradually. So, I would recommend that she begin with Formulas 1, 2 and 3. Make the Shake once per day only and make it in a beverage she regularly drinks.
Take 1Formula 2 twice daily and 1 Formula 3 twice daily. Gradually, over a week or10 days, increase the F2 to 3 per day, and the F3 to 3-4 per day.
She may gradually want to add other nutrition products, including Schizandra, Herbalifeline, RoseOx and 1-2 oz. Herbal Aloe Drink 1-2 times daily. What she can expect is better energy and better overall health from having complete and balanced nutrition.

Martin Kanters developed Crohn's Disease at 18 yrs and suffered terribly for more than four years. His doctor prescribed sulfur and steroid drugs (prednisone etc. ) which did help to some degree in bringing down the intestinal inflammation.
Through avoiding certain foods and keeping various stresses down, Martin had remained in general remission for the next 14 years however he still had scar tissue along his entire bowel and occasional intestinal cramping from certain foods.
