Appearance:

Deep brown hair, almost black looking because of his pale skin. Riu is as tall as his cousin Shaymon, and often dresses in darker colored sweaters and pants. He hardly ever goes too casual. In classes he wears the school robes, unless it�s allowed not to. In those cases he wears dark robes of his own. He has a scar running through his left eyebrow and across the bridge of his nose so there is a white line that is visible. He got the scar from when Eric Loralez shot a cutting spell at him in an arguement.

Personality Quirks:

Riu is a little more sociable since his first year- thanks to his sister and Will Ang- but he still likes to lock himself in his room from time to time to think to himself. He�s still quiet, as that�s a quality that will probably never leave him, but he�s shown quite a temper a few times due to pent up anger that he doesn�t like to show. Unlike the years before, he�s finally dropped his American accent and now speaks without stumbling through things or what his sister called Will-Induce-Relapses or the sudden loss of his American accent. He now speaks freely with his rather posh British accent unlike his sister who still keeps to the American one.
His personality and attitude are still just as hard to understand however, and can be called something like "random" the way he jumps back and forth from one to the other, and over Christmas he had been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, which explains all his strange behavior.

Family Life:

When their cousins are bothering them at home, Riu always sends a few well practiced curses their way.
His twin sister, Lynn, is a sort of balance to him. They are both very similar, but a key main differences allow them to balance each other well in a situation and they are able to lean on each other without much difficulty. Where Lynn would act like nothings wrong, Riu would feed of that positive attitude because he usually has a lot of frustration in most situations. Despite big differences, they hardly fight like most siblings and are actually very close.
At his father�s death, Riu inherited the family fortune and title which put a lot of strain on his life, especially with his disorder. Though, he no longer has to have an arranged marriage, as he now has the priveledge of choosing for himself, though he�s likely to choose someone that would benefit his family rather than benefit him.
His father died of a rare heart decease in St. Mungo�s over summer before his 6th year. Riu is feeling the pressure now more than ever of becoming the head of the family, but since his sudden depression and diagnoses of his bipolar disorder, Lynn has taken to directing the household and taking care of things that would normally fall under his jurisdiction. However, Riu doesn�t like her dealing with things she shouldn�t have to, and has gone to the Godwin family for help with financial issues and property problems. The Godwins bought their family property on the beach in Spain when Riu requested it, and bought the property in Thailand so they could go in together to start a second wizard hospital there. When Riu wants to be alone in their house in England, he either disappears to the expansive attic, or into their father�s huge study/library.

Fears:

Losing Lynn, Shaymon and his father, and he has a strange fear of dinosaurs. Having complete control over people.

Hopes:

Lynn has a good life and doesn�t have to marry someone she doesn�t want to. To never lose anyone he loves.

Interests:

Reading, dueling, drawing, and listening to people talk (he�s used to it).

Talents:

Drawing and dueling. Understanding people right off the bat. (Though he isn�t good at knowing when someone is attracted to him).

His Dorm Room:

So tidy it�s scary.

Other:

He treats Ev Rose just like he treats Lynn and lets her sleep in his room when she isn�t feeling good, and he�s helping her find out stuff about her past and... origin. Because of his depression, he does things without much thought and seems to always end up with bad situations that aren�t in his favor. Over summer, at his sister and Ginette�s debutante he slipped away and slept with Ginette. They sort of have a secret relationship that is rather complicated.
