The Hay Creek Valley Saddle Club was established in 1967.  Members enjoy a variety of horse activities, including: showing at both WSCA and Breed levels, trail riding, breeding and training.  We host a variety of horse shows and trail rides throughout the year!

Hay Creek is also a member of the Goodhue County Saddle Club Association.  This allows our members to compete at WSCA shows that also qualify them for GCSCA Year End Awards.
The majority of the HCVSC members are located in Red Wing, MN and Ellsworth, WI.  Although we do have a good number of members that are 30+ miles from either of those locations.

If you are interested in learning more about the HCVSC, feel free to email us!

The Hay Creek Valley Saddle Club will be hosting 3 horse shows in 2009.  2 fun shows and 1 WSCA/GCSCA show.  Our WSCA/GCSCA show will be a 2 day show (day 1:  pleasure, day 2: games).  All of our shows in 2009 will again be held at the Pierce County Fairgrounds in Ellsworth, WI.

During our 2 day WSCA/GCSCA show, we will have stalls & camping available for both Friday and Saturday night.  Please use the link to the right to reserve a stall.

All members are required to find a minimum of 1 sponsor for the WSCA/GCSCA show.  Please see the links to the right for examples of letters you can use to contact potential sponsors (although we've found that a phone call or in-person contact works much better).  We also have a link for a receipt that should be printed for each sponsor also.

All shows are held rain or shine!

The State of Wisconsin does require that you provide us with a copy of your coggins (we have to keep the copy for our records).  They also require that the coggins be dated in the current year.

For those of you who will be crossing state lines to compete at our horse show (for example, if you are coming from Minnesota) - the State of WI does NOT require a health certificate, unless you are planning on selling your horse at the show or will be staying for more than 3 days.   See below for a copy of the WI law.

Fun Shows - they are open to member and non-members.  Show clothes/tack are not required.  Fun shows are NOT WSCA Champ Show qualifying.
