Part II of Interview 1.23--
History
What black metal bands did you listen to growing up?
Discography
Ha.  Actually I didn't listen to any BM bands when I was young.  In fact I didn't listen to very much music.  I do remember being intrested in the industrial band Ministry, but I didn't have any major influences then.  I guess at the time BM was still very underground.  I also remeber listening to a little Slayer and old Metallica.

A lot of the Norwegian bands are greatly influenced by their history and country.  Is this similar with you.

D:
No.  I am influenced by my hate for the society that is here.  The influence that religion has here on the people is huge.  It's the Christians, Catholics, Baptists, etc. that own the economy, and control the governing here.  What they think is wrong or right has no objection because there's no one to say otherwise.  Or at least until now.

So is your hate for religion your main influence.
D: Definitely not.  I have too many of others to mention, but it is one.
You've begun working on new material even though the NWK demo hasn't even been released.  Why?
D: I like to stay ahead of myself.  It's the process that I've come to know.  Plus I do alot of experimenting with the sounds of the music, and that takes alot of time.  I've fallen behind before and I hated it.  Thinking ahead helps me decide what is important and whats not.
