| Computer Operations Networking Program is a one or two year program. Students interested into learning more about Computers, Network systems, Information Support and Services, Programming and Software Development. Information Technology or IT refers to an entire industry that uses computers and software to manage information. The Computer Operations Networking Program allows the students to explore careers in Information Technology - Help Desk Support, Personal Computer Service/Repair, Networking, Database Administration, and Programming - Game, Web, and Business. Students will prepare for the A+, Net+, Server+, and Security+CompTIA certification. These certifications validate six months on the job training for an employer. There is a fee for taking the exam, which is the responsibility of the student. The A+ exam is the first exam of several CompTIA certification exams. The CompTIA certification program is a nationally recognized program in the area of the computer industry. Students may enroll in IUPUI on-line courses for credit within the frame work of the class. |
