Alpha Epsilon Delta Texas
Epsilon Houston Baptist University
Alpha Epsilon Delta (Texas Epsilon chapter) is the pre-health
professions organization at Houston Baptist University.
Because most of our members are focused on the medical field, we
primarily offer information and support for pre-medical
students. However, we also cater to the following programs in
addition to pre-medicine:
pre-dentistry pre-optometry pre-pharmacy pre-physical
therapy pre-physician assistant
Joining AED
Anyone can join AED by becoming an associate member. To qualify
for national membership, however, the following requirements must be
met (according to the by-laws of AED, Texas Epsilon):
-You must have completed a minimum of five activities with
AED.
-You must have completed at least five quarters with at least 50
hours of premedical work.
-You must have a general GPA of at least 3.00 and a
science GPA of at least 3.00.
fees
Membership fees for associate members are $15 until October 14,
2003.
From Oct. 14, 2003 to Dec. 10, 2003, associate membership fees
are $20.
No dues will be accepted on and after Dec. 11, 2003.
The dues for national membership are $55.

AED is a national organization and was founded in 1926.
There are 182 chapters of AED nationally with over 140,000
members.
