| The 2001 Look |
| In the middle of 2001, the Redbaron was recommissioned as a daily ride once more. With its new role as a daily ride, things must change for me to enjoy it. With the advice of Johan, the scratched tints were promptly removed (thanks Johan for the help and the slight tuning and lunch!.hehehe). This proved to be a good move, since it made the car look better. Unfortunately, the windows were not green glass. No problem. The aircon proved its worth as it was able to handle the influx of sunlight into the interior of the car. With the tints removed, the exterior looked better. However, the interior, showed its problems. The seats were covered in grime that were very noticeable. Went home and started on the front seats over the weekend. With the help of Joy and water, the grime was removed and the true color of the seats came out. Unfortunately, some grime is still present. The rear seats was done over the next weekend as I was in need of a car to bring around over the weekend night. With the car having no tint, and the seats freshly cleaned, the car looked better than I thought. However, I already decided to sell it before I even commissioned it to daily ride. Hence this webpage showing its current status. UPDATE: Jan. 18, 2002 I have decided to keep the car and continue its restoration. The car was pulled out of the market at the end of December. I'm sorry if I wasnt able to update this website immediately. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
