Grading in Science This Year

I use the folowing system for grading science quizzes and tests:

            A = 93%-100%
            B = 86%-92%
            C = 78%-85%
            D = 70%-77%
            F = below 70%

There are many factors that I take into account when I come up with a student's grade each marking period. Click on this link to find out what's important.

Grades are reported four times each year. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd marking period report cards are handed out at school.

4th marking period grades, as well as final grades for the year, will be mailed to you at home

We also provide interim reports on student progress during the middle of each marking period.
