| Science is not just what you study at school in one classroom. And, if it is true that science is everywhere and in everything, then there must be lots of science happening outside of school. Best of all, I am willing to give extra credit for extra science that you do at home, after school, on the weekends, with friends or family. On the next page, you will find rules and guidelines for EXTRA CREDIT. I have also included links to several pages of ideas for activities and projects. There is something for everyone on this list: easy stuff/hard stuff, old ideas/new ideas, one-hour activities/one week projects, independent work/team work, science indoors/science in the wild, the 3 R's (reading/writing/'rithmetic), the 2 D's (drawing/designing), and the one BIG IDEA..., SCIENCE -- JUST DO IT!
