Welcome to the Home Page for 6-B Science
with Mrs. Jenner
H. B. duPont Middle School       Room 118
I have had a great time creating this web page.
It has been a real learning experience and has boosted my technology literacy 100%.
On most pages, both the text and the accompanying graphic act as links.
A few of the pages are still "under construction".

I would appreciate feedback from visitors--students, parents, and friends.
Use the e-mail link at the bottom of this page.
This is the moonlit harbor at Belfast, Maine.  The land to the right, across Penobscot Bay, is Turtle Head, the northern part of the island of Islesboro.  I go there every summer with my family.
We take a ferry boat to get there.
This is a view across the Grand Canyon from the South Rim.  My son, Nick, and I love to visit the Grand Canyon and northwestern Arizona.  We have stayed  there for a total of fifteen days in the last four summers.  We are very lucky.

F.Y.I.  Bats are my favorite wild animals.
Bats are fascinating: they are found on every continent, except Antarctica, they are the world's greatest plant pollinators, they make up 25% of all the mammals on earth, and they are truly not dangerous to people.  Not even dreaded vampire bats!  There are four species of bats found in Delaware.  My friend, Tonyea Mead, in Lewes, Delaware, is a licensed bat rehabilitator.  She has worked with Dr. Merlin Tuttle, the founder of Bat Conservation International and the #1 world authority on bats.

If you want to find out more about bats, talk to me.  I have books, videos, and websites to recommend.  I am hoping to add some bat pages to my website!!
