Dear Classmate,

Do you believe in GOD? Well I do. If you do, well, listen to this:

One late summer a boy of 9 years walked to the park. To his surprise, a little girl his age wept on a bench. “Why are you crying?” said he with curiosity. The little girl said, “I lost my golden ring my deceased mother gave me.” The boy said, “Okey, I’ll help you find it.”

“My name is Ruby, what’s yours?”, she said & stopped crying.

“Nathaniel, but you can call me Nat,” he replied.

“Okey Nat, let’s find my ring,” she said excitedly. “But wait, let’s pray first that we can find it,” Nat said.

Ruby asked, “What is a prayer?”

Nat asked, “You never heard a prayer before?” He was so shocked he almost jumped, then continued, “A prayer is when you talk to GOD with your words.”

“Who is GOD?” quipped the little girl.

“GOD is the One whom we worship. We pray to Him especially at Church.”

Ruby said, “We never went to church nor worshipped GOD before.”

“You know something?”, Nat asked.

“What?”, Ruby mused.

“GOD loves you. And the proof that He loves you is that He gave His only Son, I mean, only begotten Son for the world. And He even let Him die on the cross just to save you and other people from their sins.” explained Nat.

Ruby couldn’t speak, she was too stunned.

Nat continued, “And in the Holy Bible, the Book of GOD, it says that JESUS will come again soon. It’s called the, Second Coming. And when He comes He will take the good people who was saved for believing in Him. And they shall live in GOD’s Kingdom with peace, pleasure, and there will be no tears, for GOD will wipe them off, and no more pain and sufferings. This is true for it’s in the Holy Bible. The people who will be left behind, the bad people, will be punished & will go to hell, & then to the lake of fire, a dire place which will burn forever. They will be tortured with the devil & his demons. They will be punished eternally.

Ruby began to cry, “How do I get saved, Nat?”

“It is by faith, all you have to do is confess all your sins and accept Jesus in your heart, believe & obey Him.” Nat explained.

Ruby began to pray and did all what Nat told her to do, and a few minutes later she received the forgiveness of GOD & felt the touch of GOD.

She said to Nat, “How can I ever thank you?”

“Well, you can tell others everything I told you; and go to Church every Sunday, always pray, be kind and read & practise what’s in the Bible.”

“Okey, I’ll do that, but now, let’s pray for GOD help us find my ring.”

They prayed and later started looking. Then at the corner of Ruby’s blue eyes, she spotted something twinkling on the grass. She picked it up and to her surprise, she had found her ring!

“Thank GOD! Praise the Lord!” exclaimed Ruby.

Then they heard a noise coming from a red car. “It’s mother, it’s time to go. See you tomorrow, Nat. Bye.” sighed Ruby.

“Okey, bye...” replied Nat.
