| This weekend teams from Cape York, Capricornia, Bunderberg/Wid Bay, Cairns,Mackay,Townsvill, The Darling Downs and for the first time over seas team Papua New Guinea. all these young footballers are coming together to play for the right to be named in the Queensland Country Kookburras side to play in the Queensland Championships with 8 teams descending onto the Hervey Bay Bombers ovel its sure to be a good clash. For the team who takes out the title it secures braging right as they are named Country Queensland Champions. The bombers held the event last year and i was a big sucess with both palyers and officals having a great time on and off the feild. | The bombers today had a big win over the bears. You could be forgiven for thinking that this was a training run with the bombers winning easley over the bears. the start of the game so the bears come out hard but it was all down hill from therewith the bombers taking several good grabs and out playing their tiering opponents from the 2nd quater onwards. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In todays game the Bay Bombers take on the second placed Bares in the inter city match of the season. Bombers have named yet anoter strong side to take the park it just seems like all they can do is name Strong sides week after week it just shows that the bombers have good players all fighing for a game it this very strong side. Its a full day of footy today with the under 14 and the under 17 also taking to park against the Maryborough outfits it should be a good day for footy with nice weather and a bit of wind so dont miss out get down now to N.E McLean Oval and Raward Rd in Torquay and support the Bombers to go all the wat for a 3 peak. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
