Kolej TAJ is an Institute of Higher Education established with accreditation by the Ministry of Education Malaysia in February 1998. Kolej TAJ is wholly owned by Liverage Venture Sdn. Bhd., a fully Bumiputra Organisation. It is situated in No.1, Jalan Taman Kinta, Off Jalan Gopeng, 30250 Ipoh Perak.

Kolej Shahputra, formerly known as Institut Fitra is a wholly owned of Graduate Achievement Studies Centre Sdn. Bhd. – 348435 W (100% Bumiputera).

Kolej Islam Melaka (KIM) is a public institution of higher learning in Malaysia. It is fully owned by the Malacca government. KIM is a college that combined the elements of prety, academics and vocational. The main purpose of college is to produce a progressive and sincerely religious human being on mankind. The foundation of KIM has been agreed by the Dewan Undangan Negeri Melaka after a conference on 14^th and 5^th May 1994. The agreement are put under the Enactment of KIM 1994. The programs conducted by KIM are approved by the Civil Service Department and the approval for the nursing school are given by the Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia and also by Ministry of Health.

Until now there are four branches of KIM campus around Malacca. KIM has successfully produced three generation of graduates since 1997. KIM also collaborate with universities locally and internationally such as Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR), University College of St. Martin U.K. University of Exeter U.K, and University of Napier U.K.

In August 1998, ITTMC has been appointed as UNITAR Tutorial Center for students in the north side. Courses offered by UNITAR are Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Information Technology.

Institute of Technical, Management and Computer (ITTMC) was established in December 1995 and formerly known as Kolej Teknologi TMG (Tengku Mahmud – Goon Group College) under Syarikat Minat Bakat Sdn. Bhd. ITTMC is registered with The Ministry of Education – KP (JPS) 5195/ipts/898 (8) and Kedah State education Department – JPK (PPPS) 03-03/4/019.

ITTMC offers courses for certificate level as well as diploma level. These courses are offered full time or part time to SPM/SPMV/STPM leavers and/or working people.

At the early stage, ITTMC operated with only 5 students on January 1996. The courses were (a) Electric and Electronic Engineering

(b) Electronic/Communication Engineering

Courses in computer and management are offered later. These include:

4. Business Administration

KIK Objectives:

1. Producing more intellectual and educated people in developing the country.
2. Establishing a faster national integration.
3. Providing a preliminary foundation before undergoing degree program at local or overseas universities.

KIK was established in 1997 under Syarikat Jiwa Yakin Sdn. Bhd and has been approved by the Ministry of Education. The establishment of the college suits the government’s mission to have more private higher institutions in meeting the need of skilled labors for the country.

KIK is currently collaborating with other local and overseas institutions such as Unitar, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia, Murdoch University, Canberra Institute of Technology and Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad Institute of Research & Training (BIRT) to conduct some of the programs.
