Earth Science/Astronomy
< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Congratulation, you have found the Physical Science Teacher Web Resource Page for Earth Science/Astronomy!  On this page you will find descriptions of many great resources pertaining to the Earth Sciences and Astronomy (sort of what you would expect!)

Resource #1

Earth Science Lessons

This web site was created by Scott Johnson, an elementary school teacher at Lincoln Elementary in Grand Forks.  He created the information on the site for middle school students, but a little tweaking will make it appropriate for high school students.  While you can access activities that Mr. Johnson does in his class, the best part of the site may be the simple explanations and diagrams of earth science phenomena.

Resource #2

Volcano World

If you will be teaching your class about volcanoes, visit this site.  It was created by the University of North Dakota.  The site offers such features as current eruptions, ask a volcanologist, volcano adventures, and teaching and learning.
I wonder if they used the metric system for their measurements?
