| Congratulation, you have found the Physical Science Teacher Web Resource Page for Biology! On this page you will find descriptions of many great resources pertaining to Biology(sort of what you would expect!) Resource #1 Cells Alive The Cells Alive site was created by James Sullivan in 1994. The site deals with cell biology, microbiology, immunology, and microscopy. This site has downloadable videos, quizzes, and interactive Internet activities. This site does a great job at illustrating the cell cycle. Students can click buttons to see animation of a cell going through division. Resource #2 Access Excellence at the National Health Museum Access Excellence was launched in 1993 to provide heath teachers, biology teachers, and life science teachers with educational resources. On the home page there are links to their science updates, graphics, health focus, and activities exchange pages. The activities exchange page is really great. There are a myriad of lesson plans provided by teachers. Many of them are very engaging. There are also links to online science comic book-like mysteries for students to read and solve online. |
