The Hawkeye publication reaches almost 1600 students at Newtown High School, as well as parents, faculty, and the general Newtown community. The Hawkeye: Online Edition looks to reach out to this audience and beyond.

We at The Hawkeye would like to extend an offer to any business interested in advertising with us. In addition to the option of advertising within our school paper, there is now the altertative to advertise online with us as well. Advertising is sold by section (News, Features, Sports, Opinion, and Entertainment). The ad placed on a section's front page is 300 by 150 pixels, and additional advertising can be made on each article within that section.

For advertising online, there are 2 options.

You offer your own ad design. Such ads must be in the correct dimensions.

Feel free to contact us with any questions at all relating to the advertisements prior to purchasing. All advertisements should be submitted with the necessary materials (high quality picture files, information desired, etc.) to [email protected]. If you want us to make your ad, please include specific instructions for content and design to be created by staff members. We will notify you (the advertiser) when the advertisement will appear online.

If you want, advertisements can directly link to pages specified by the advertiser, but links are not required (you can simply include contact information). Before agreeing to a final contract, links for the advertisement will be reviewed for school-appropriate content. If any content found within the links appears inappropriate, the link will be removed and the advertising contract may be terminated.

Advertising with The Hawkeye (both online and in print) are excellent ways for you to advertise your business.
