Well I finally put up my TTT layout. Of course, the main picture is of Aragorn because I love him so much. =) I put this up a lot later than I had expected. Please tell me what you think! Oh and don't you just hate it when Alxnet sometimes doesn't tell you of new gbook entries? I'm going around and tagging everyone now.

Yay! I finished my TTT layout yesterday. I think I will put it up in the new year. I'm actually very pleased with it all, except that the main image is a very big file - 126kb. Oh well. Please vote for me as SOTM for December!

I just couldn't wait until next week to see The Two Towers. It was a damn brilliant movie! The effects were really neat and Aragorn was awesome! The music wasn't quite as good as FOTR in my opinion, but oh well. Here's a glimpse of what happens. Don't worry, I won't spoil it.

- Gollum was uglier than I thought he would be. But you get used to it.
- Aragorn gets kissed by his horse.
- Aragorn has a sense of humor!
- Then again, so do Gimli and Legolas.
- Poor Haldir...
- Aragorn helps Gimli do something and Gimli doesn't want anyone to know what it is.
- Legolas does some really cool stunts when he's jumping on his horse and then also at Helms Deep
- Faramir is rather stupid and makes bad decisions. He's ok at the end, but I like Boromir better.
- Merry gets unmerry and gives Pippin and the Ents a reality check.
- Pippin gets a good idea.
- There's a lovely waterfall at Isengard.
- Once again, Sam the Brave saves Frodo from his own temporary insanity. Go Sam! lol
- Believe it or not, The Two Towers doesn't leave you hanging. Same with FOTR. Very well done...

Well everyone knows of course, that The Two Towers comes out today. I really really want to see it, but I just hate it when the theaters are filled. They have enough tickets, but then they don't have enough seats. I think I'll wait until next week to see it. Today is day 1 of Winter Break. This means I'll be updating a lot, but there is a slight problem. I just switched to AT&T and they are giving me a whole month free, except I can only dial-up 40 times this month. This also includes phone calls. So now that I'm on the internet, I rarely get off. Oh and I adopted a bunch of LOTR sprites. SO darn cute.

Ok, so I didn't update yesterday... but that's because I'm working on a new layout! I'm thinking of either Harry Potter or of course, Lord the Rings. I just went to see The Chamber of Secrets yesterday. It was alright, a lot better than the first one. The movie room was sooooo crowded even though it was huge. I was stuck in a little corner with some guy with a big head in front of me. =( 19 more days until The Two Towers!! I had a great laugh here. It's a hilarious collection of LOTR cartoons. Go check it out!!

Oh pooey. I just got back from McDonald's for lunch and it was really uncomfortable for my eyes since I had an eye exam right before that. They put these eye drops in that make your eyes all "sticky" and now any bright light irratates me. That's why I'm wearing sunglasses while typing this. lol Yesterday I downloaded this desktop kitty from Cherri Cafe and it is so cute!!! Anyways, I updated my links and I'm trying to make a page for you to link moi, but Liquid2K is giving me a hard time. =\ That would answer why I only have one button for you to link me with. You know, I really am not liking this layout. Maybe I'll make one if I have time. I've started packing a couple days ago and now I've learned that we probably aren't moving until the 2nd of October or so. Last Friday, my friend and I went the animal shelter to walk dogs and play with the kitties. It was so much fun! There was this one little kitten that I particulary liked. It was a light colored tabby and it would just lay in my lap until my hands fell asleep. I kinda knocked him silly when I put him back in the cage though. =( I hope he isn't too mad at me when I go to the pound on Monday.

Now it's time to plug a friend whom I have inspired so much. lol With her bizarre sense of humor, she posts up the stories she's written about her friends. Yup I'm in this one story too. I'm the rabbit or whatever that the main character sees in the woods. Too bad I wasn't an elf...

I put up my layout today. It's all silvery so I named it Silver Night. The graphic was from Getty Images. Anyways, I haven't had any time to update anything because I'M MOVING. I'm not moving my site to anywhere, I'm literally moving myself, to California. So that's why everything's been all hectic: getting all our stuff ready, announcing the news to all my friends and getting all my school stuff done.

I finished my new layout yesterday. I guess it isn't as original as I wanted it to be, but I think it will work. For the first time ever, I used image maps. I don't have any image mapping software or anything fancy like that. I just followed what it said on the mapping page atLissa Explains. Let me tell you this: mapping my picture took FOREVER. But I'm really glad I finally finished.

I got Hawaii Skyz reviewed by Toxic Reviews and it's one of the most helpful reviews. I didn't realize that my cursor might scare people away! lol So I'm getting rid of that. And all the flashy gifs I'm getting rid of too. Go see the review here. I rearranged the reviews so that hopefully it will be more organized. On to school today. OMG!! I did really bad on our pretest for Algebra!! It was really easy and I was expecting an easy A but when we got our bubble sheet back today, I got an 88%!!! I've never gotten an 88% in math -- ever!!! =( And even more bad stuff. Starting tomorrow, our buses are going to leave at 3:07! What the heck? My SSR class ends at 3:00, I walk to my locker (around the "block"), get all my stuff, go to the orchestra room (down the hall) to get my violin, and then run all the way to the bus stop. I CANNOT do that all in 7 minutes. Well, maybe I could, IF MY BUS WASN'T THE LAST IN LINE AT THE BUS STOP! (Actually, it's second to last) Can you believe that? I can hardly get to my bus at the time they originally had, 7:12. Urg. I wish it didn't have to park so far away, but that really can't be changed. There's an Elementary school next door to the Jr. High and that's why the buses are parked close to the school. At least mine is. =( But maybe if my SSR class and locker weren't so far apart, that could help. Waaaaaaaa. This sucks.

Boo. It's the last day of the weekend. We went to the labor day parade in Bellevue today. It was so short! Only 20 minutes or so! And it was boring too. Good thing I brought Fellowship of the Ring with me. Heh heh. I was reading when this guy with a bunch of water balloons threw a balloon at me. I was pretty annoyed that it got my book wet. Then for lunch, we went all the way to Ketchum. There is this burger place that I totally love. It's the Burger Grill (isn't that a creative name?) and their bacon cheeseburgers are the best! Mmmm!

Ok...what was I going to say? Oh yes. Today I got to sleep in for the first time in 5 days. I relished it totally. lol Anyways, I need go update my school schedule when I have time. I have so much homework from physical science and I want to have a chance to go over some notes in Algebra for the typical beginning-of-the-year pretests. Strangely, I am more afraid of those than the end-of-the-year tests because they give your teacher their first impression. =\ K, gotta go.

I was going to take an AR test on The Fellowship of the Ring on like, the first day of school, but then I learned that the AR program won't be ready until a week or so. Since I already returned the book, my friend let me borrow her book to reread in case I forget somethings during the test. So that's what I should be doing, but I'm taking a break to chat. Last night on American, Nikki finally got voted off. It was really funny right when they were to annouce who was going. Everyone was all really excited and so when they said, "We'll find out after the break", all the guys just cracked up.

Today I added that cursor effect. Do you like it? There weren't any Lord of the Rings themed cursors at Comet Zone, but I figured the ring cursor would be ok. You have to have My Comet Cursor to use it. It's really neat and there are tons of cursors. I really like it. In other news, Keesje, the owner of the Smackers clique can't run the site anymore so if anyone can take over, email her. I know a lot of girls out there just loooove Lipsmackers, so keep the clique running and someone take over, ok? I would, but I just don't have the time for it. =(

LoL I only had that temporary layout up for one day. I really really like this new layout featuring Aragorn, played by Viggo Mortenson. This is the first time Hawaii Skyz has had a black background and I think black and gold looks nice together. What do you think?

It's been more than 3 weeks and I'm finally back (sort of). I know, I know, this layout totally sucks. I didn't spend much time on it because well, I didn't have much time for it. Quick announcement on American Idol. Tamyra Gray got voted off!!! I was so sure my prediction would be right. You know, the one about the last three contestants being Tamyra, Kelly, and Justin. And then bam. Last night, Tamyra Gray was gone. I reaction was just like Paula's (one of the judges): totally shocked. I was almost positive Nikki was going, but instead it was Tamyra. =(

OMG y'all! Justin was in the bottom three on American Idol today! I must say, I was completely shocked. I was even more surprised when they announced that Nikki was safe. And that left Justin and Ryan with the least number of votes. Well, let's just say, Justin had a real close call. I think the fact that he needs to pick a really good song next week has gotten to him. He just looked totally determined, you know? Anyways, this Wednesday edition of American Idol was the same. The audience totally hated the commercial timing. I'm serious. They need to get that rearranged because it really is annoying.
