~~7/30/02~~--Blabbing about American Idol
Forget it. I'm not rooting for Justin Guarini anymore. He was just too pathetic on today's American Idol. He tried to say sorry "like a man" in front of the judges on his behavior last week. You know, when Simon said it wasn't his best performance, and he was like, "Well what does the audience think, hmm?" Of course, then, all the girls screamed their heads off. I think by apologizing, he just made it worse. So as of now, I am rooting for Kelly Clarkson and Tamyra Gray. They really sang well today. I think Kelly has the best voice out of all of them. Plus, she's got style. Justin, on the other hand, didn't do too well. His song was just not him (as the judges agreed too). I think he's more of the energetic type, like he said. This song was just too slow and didn't show all his energy. I hope he improves next week. Meanwhile, go Kelly!!

Today at tennis, everyone just kinda went blehhhhhh.... I guess it's just Monday. Anyways, not much happening, but I'm really excited for digital-spark.net. I can't wait till it opens up!

A. J. got the least number of votes yesterday on American Idol. Eh. I'm not surprised. I thought either A. J., R. J. or Ryan would go bye bye, but I was quite surprised that Cristina was in the bottom 3 for votes. I mean, I know she didn't exactly do too good yesterday, but her other performances were good. Oh well. I guess it's this week's that counts. Ok. Now, I have to say this. Those hosts are getting on my nerves. Brian and Ryan. I mean, they just seem so out of place. This show doesn't even need them. I think it would be better if it was hosted by a guy and a girl, or even better, with just one person. Having two guys standing on stage, kinda unsure of themselves isn't very smart. Did you see how nervous they were when the audience booed at their bad commercial timing? The timing was pretty bad. They had like, two minutes, and then another commercial break. I know you want to keep things exciting, but still, annoying. You know what's also annoying? The way those two try to funny. It's just sad. Just sad. Don't have a clue what I'm talking about? Go to the American Idol home page. Anyways, if you look in the guestbook, people are saying I should get hosted. Well, sure, that would be nice, but I think I'll just stick with Geocities. People say only good sites are hosted, but I don't think that's true. I mean, there isn't anything wrong with Geocities anyways. So unless Geocities starts making people pay, I'll stay unhosted.

Ha! Now this is funny. How pathetic do people get? Anyways, I heard it from Glitter Kitten.Net. At the tennis session today, I learned that my backhand is a LOT better with one hand for me. So yay. I'm doing quite well. Let's see, today I submited Hawaii Skyz in several review sites and also for an elite clique. Jo emailed me trying to get me to fix things up on the dumb review site we were working on. Nope. No more. Forget it all.

On American Idol tonight, the contestants had to sing a song from the 60's. The judges all agreed that Justin Guarini's performance was not his best. Sadly, I have to agree. =( Yeah I know. Shawn! Justin's biggest fan! But...the song was just not him. I think he was just too sure of himself or something. On the other hand, that little thing he did with the Simon puppet was quite funny. The best performance, I thought, was Kelly Clarkson's. It just made you smile, you know? The second best, I thought, was Tamyra Gray's. If I had to pick the final 3 contestants on American Idol, those three would be the ones I pick. What do you think?

Yay! A brand new layout featuring the lovely Mandy Moore! I know it's not the most creative layout you've ever seen, but I'm at least satisfied. I'm trying the get the scroll bars here to somewhat match the background. I think it's good enough for now. Anyways, all day yesterday was spent working on the clique/review site that Jo asked me to help with. I'm not putting the link up because it's just too scary looking right now. Anyways, I was really glad to be part of it and worked my butt off with the layout. But now, I don't know. I really don't want to be part of it anymore. It's just too much work...Ok, so that's not really the reason. The reason is that Jo's just too hard to work with. So for now, I'm sticking with Hawaii Skyz and Hawaii Skyz Personal. In other news, Judy is back with a new layout. So go check it out.

I guess I was used to Geocities contacting me whenever someone signed the guestbook. Actually, I'm pretty sure Alxnet does that too. Everyone that signed the book, thank you! =D

My lazy Saturday morning is spent working on Hawaii Skyz. I updated the wallpaper page, deleted a lot of stuff I didn't need, and I'm finally making a resources page. I already have my new layout made, featuring the lovely Mandy Moore. I don't really want to it up just now cuz I really like this one. =)

Guess what? I finally have a name blinkie thanks to Sweet Serenity. Doesn't really match with the layout, but I like it =). Anyways, today was the last day of the first session for tennis (what?! how confusing!) I've decided that I really like the sport and I'm going to go for another session next week. Angie won't be going since she has basketball camp and then summer camp, but she said she'll be doing the last session. Oh well. One more thing. I can't wait till Tuesday to watch American Idol! lol I am such a reality show sucker. =P

I was checking out this poll they had on AOL about American Idol. Yay! 25% of the people voted for Justin Guarini as their idol! And the person with the next best percentage was Tamyra Gray with 16%. I really really hope Justin wins. Ahhh! I love his hair!!! lol And then this other question, did you think Simon and Randy staged their fight? I think they did and apparently 55% of the people did too. You know, Tamyra Gray actually is a pretty good singer too, so there is going to be competition.

I wish I had some sort of image mapping program or whatever. Every time I make a layout, I end up using text links. =( I also desperately need PSP or Photoshop or something cuz this little program that came with my printer just doesn't cut it. lol See the review here.

For 4th of July, we went to see a really pathetic parade. OMG, I'm sorry to say, that no one even put any effort into making a parade. All there was was commercials and police cars. It was very sad. I updated the mystery celeb today and I've asked a few people to do link exchanges so let's see what happens.

At first I thought it was my mom. lol Now I don't know who it is. Maybe it's a teacher. OMG! It might be my Tech teacher! Or maybe my Computer teacher! Once I find out who, it'll be pretty embarrasing if it wasn't. Anyways, I put up several forms and this is this first email I've gotten from one, so it's pretty neat. =) Ok, if you look in my admired section of the www section, you'll notice that half the buttons are broken images. =\ Need to do something about that. Then, there's the Contact section in the www section. I just created it today. Also, I spent forever going through the quiz results page. Ughhhhhh! I hate all those broken images! So I went and deleted them. Then, of course, you've noticed that I've moved most of the stuff that was once on this page into my index page. I used a folder tree from dynamic drive and I think it looks pretty good. I used to think that having so much stuff on the splash was annoying, but now I just don't know where to put that stuff, so that's why they're there. Still haven't heard from any review sites...

All the updates in between were lost. =(
