The Idiocy of Gun Control Advocates

Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American... The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state government, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people. ~~ Billy Graham

Gun control advocates are really a trip. Little do they realize the damage they are doing to the last freedoms left to the people of this nation and the world. Little do they realize their support of complete oppression of the multitudes by the very few. Or, maybe they do and are a willing part of the evil permeating all facets of our lives with government intervention, with the hope that their advocacy for control will place them in good standing with the elite when the end to liberty comes.

A person named Peter Crook (Gun Control Australia president) more or less epitomizes the ignorance and lack of rational thinking prevailing among gun control people. These perhaps well meaning people simply do not understand simple facts and the history of the world as it has been affected by arms control (firearms and other weapons). This man should, though, since crime (all categories) in his country has increased tremendously since hundreds of thousands of firearms (640,000 plus) were turned in and presumably destroyed.

Anyway, here is what the man stated following the issuance of over 600 concealed carry permits issued to children as young as 11 (reported in Children handed pistol licences by Ryan Heffernan, in the Courier Mail):

"It's a worrying statistic because children have a lack of understanding of the meaning of death."

By ll years of age, the writer had had several years of firearms training and had killed many animals with firearms. He knew very well what death was. He also knew very well that firearms could cause deaths of people if a firearm wasnt handled properly. In fact, had he not proved his handling of firearms properly, he would not have been able to go hunting with friends, nor purchase his own firearms.

The writer started training his own son at age 4. Since the writer kept loaded firearms for self-protection (what protection is an unloaded, locked up firearm is some home invader going to give a person time to get the firearm and load it?), he showed his son many times exactly what various firearms would do to animals, including animals as large as deer.

Never once did his son attempt to play with a real firearm but did imitate the writer with his toy guns. Get that, advocates and idiots pushing the no tolerance stupidity in public schools and the like TOY guns, not weapons that can kill.

Crook also said:

shooters were often careless and there was a dangerous ideology attached to people who owned and used guns.

One can only ask concerning this What the devil is this guy talking about? Just how far out of the sunshine does he have his head? shooters are often careless Pshaw.

Although it is doubtful anything factual can penetrate this mans cranium, shooters are not often careless. Just how many gun-related accidents have occurred at the many shooting contests held annually in the US alone? How many gun-related accidents have occurred in homes? How many gun-related accidents have occurred by concealed carriers? How many accidents have occurred while hunting? How many gun-related accidents have occurred while shooters were trying a weapon they were thinking of buying?

Please, Mr. Crook, state the exact figures that led to this ridiculous statement. Prove to we people who base decisions on facts that yours are statements founded only on a defective reasoning process or imagined figures. People must consider that generalized statements such as this one are nothing more than statements intended to misinform and create emotional responses and, at best, weak minds attempts to avoid informing people of the facts.

But, as we all know, gun control advocates cannot base any statements they make on fact but must rely of fictions to present their cause. The facts clearly prove this to all who possess a functioning brain.

And, there is this. In this nation we still call the United States of America, Home of the Free to own guns (at least for now), there were only 390 gun-related accidents in 1998 (the last year figures are available as reported by Angel Shamaya in Government school propaganda teaches kids to shun and fear guns and gun owners And tells outright lies in the process).

Lets see how this adds up. Approximately one-third of the American population owns firearms, about 90,000,000 since stats dont figure in those who own firearms that are not registered. Since 90,000,000 own firearms with many owning several firearms, one can safely assume that the majority of young people are around firearms, have access to firearms, or may find a means of getting a firearm if they want one.

Furthermore, when one considers the very young, there were only 80 gun-related accidents in the age group of 5-12. Then, there were 310 in the age group of 15 to 24. Assuming about half the population is children in these age groups and including, of course, 13 and 14 year olds, there must be at least 100,000,000 young people of sufficient physical development to cause a gun to fire. (Did you get that, Idiots Against Guns cause a gun to fire?

But only 390 gun-related accidents?

My gosh, have gun control advocates been asleep for the past few years or what? Or, are their minds so clouded by misguided intentions that murders, robberies, muggings, in-home invasions, assaults, and rapes of victims escalating in all areas of increased control worldwide cannot penetrate the fog? Can they not recognize that increased control has resulted in increased crime, that areas of strict control in this country, for example, Washington, D.C., has crime rates exceeding entire states holding hundreds of thousands of gun owners and shooters?

As if this isnt enough to convince others of the fallacies perpetuated by gun control advocates, such as those uttered by Crook, he next stated:

"It is a dangerous thing for children to be socialised in that environment[.]"

What environment (and dangerous ideology) is he talking about? Is it the one in which gun ownership has resulted in decreased rapes, assaults, robberies, in-home invasions, and murder because of gun ownership and increased gun ownership?

Or, could it be the environment and ideology of gun owners in the US in which two and a half million crimes, including the prevention of rapes, burglaries, muggings, robberies, and assaults that might have resulted in the death of victims in any of these categories of crimes, were prevented by gun owners? Or, is it the one in which these crimes run rampant due to the lack of civilian gun ownership, say, as in China, Russia, Australia and Washington, D.C., where civilians are essentially at the mercy of the criminal element, including their own governments?

Of course, one must recognize that perhaps neurons in his brain short-circuited, since high crime areas suffering gun control were confused with areas of low crime thanks to high firearm ownership. Perhaps one should feel sympathy for his seeming to be mentally challenged, and possibly would, except that his ridiculous reasoning and statements make the news media while facts do not. Shame, shame, shame, shame, shame on the media for this.

Finally, Crooks true colors are firmly revealed by:

"Children should be free of the socialisation that inevitably goes with gun ownership."

Without a doubt, this is the statement of an individual who loves the indoctrination and oppression of the doctrine of communism, the exact ideology many gun owners abhor. He has to be a proponent of this doctrine. History has proved that the socialism that results from removing the means of people defending themselves has nothing but negative results. Or, perhaps Mr. Crook can find no fault with the resulting tyrannical socialistic governments killing 100,000,000 (100 million) of their own citizens in the past century alone.

The only crime of these government-murdered victims was a government-perceived one. The people either believed in the freedoms of Man or did not agree with totally with the government. Either way, they were labeled as enemies of the state, incarcerated, tortured, and massacred.

This is what Mr. Crook and other advocates of gun control destine the youth of the world to total oppression, servitude, and to genocide that ALWAYS goes along with government enforced civilian arms control.
