Dear Friends:

We are pleased to report that Haven Ministries continues to grow and increase. We have continued to offer the �regular� services as usual.

Over the past year we have seen many new faces at the Haven and we have formed new friendships. Many have come through needing help or assistance in various areas and it has been our pleasure to �be there� for these individuals. Many families have been helped in practical ways such as clothing, food and furniture. The hot meal program continues to do well. Our thanks goes to all those involved in providing food for these meals. During the year seven people have worked off court sentences through the Valley Restorative Justice and the Fine Options Program by doing community service hours at the Haven. We have continued to assist individuals with these types of needs.

We have been blessed to be given the opportunity to provide breads, rolls and sweets to approximately 200 people per week. (60 families) This bread and sweets has been provided to us by the Atlantic Superstore in Kingston, NS and is given out to those families in need on Wednesday evenings 7-8pm and Saturdays 3-4pm. So many have expressed how much this is needed and appreciated.

Over the past two years we have been working on a new project that we would like to see implemented in the near future. There has been much preparation and prayer has gone into this project and we see a great need for it in this area. Soon a proposal for �Joshua House� will be sent to request government funding. We will keep you informed as to the progress of this project.
